What if…

I love the what if idea about the witch in a science lab! It invites the potential for a ton of interesting exchanges of ideas across science and magic, and I can imagine how much tension there may be between the two disciplines. It makes me wonder whether science and magic are at odds in this world, or if they could be complementary. I'm also uncertain whether magic is widely known in this world, or whether it's secret. I would suggest exploring the witch's motivation for signing up for this position, and thinking about what that tells us about them as a character.

I'm definitely more of a writer than a visual artist! I'm excited to be developing a totally different (and very complementary) skillset through this program, though. With writing, I love the many ways it can evoke feeling and self-discovery and connection.
