I’d suggest maybe a few more details to emphasize these are two different characters in two different situations.

Week 3

I like the slight blur of the buildings to really emphasize Rex being in the foreground.

Is he just walking around unnoticed ? Did he just arrive at that spot via some time warp ?

Maybe have another object in the foreground with him so we get a guard of his big he actually is

I really like the perspective the character is being shown from, almost as if they’re longing for an escape.

Is the world they live in above water ? Are they a special kind of mermaid that can live out of water ?

Insect mafias, idioms turned real, and generative dreams

The idea of whatever you've dreamed at night coming true the night before is a really dope idea. What I really started thinking about was how people can't control what they dream and the fear of the unknown of what will come true the next day. What was unclear to me was if people who are in each others dreams have blended realities the next day.

What ifs…..

I really liked the idea of a spider keeping ap natry in your ears while you slept. It made me think about the idea of smaller worlds immersed within larger ones. The one thing I wasn't sure about was how the person would go on without feeling a pantry inside of their ear.
