What if…

I didn't know the Pope was against coffee! That's hilarious and makes me think of that kombucha lady meme.

What If

These are interesting worlds you're presenting! I liked your second what if. I hardly see any evil trees. Why are they evil? Are they angry that we polluted the air? Reminds me of the Lorax but with a fun/evil twist!

What if

Hi! I enjoyed the cinematic opening (I'm also working full-time, so I relate to 'Last Minute Studios'). Idea #2 was my favorite—it has a clear goal with a world that's easy to understand. Though I'm not sure how I feel about the immortal ending... Are you leaving room for a sequel or is this merely the consequence of the protagonist's action? Your other ideas were great too but were vague in their character motives. Great work!

Busses, Lights, Music

Hi! These are great illustrations and concepts! I like them all but especially LOVED the second idea. It's a very wholesome concept that I had no problem visualizing. It made me wonder what the aliens were celebrating (what is Christmas to them? or are they copying humans?)? And is Earth left out on this fun? I can't wait to see where your ideas will take you next. Great job!

Ryan What If's

Hello! first of all, cute sketches! Kudos to the illustrator(s). I like all the ideas but "what if library books..." really stuck out to me. It's an interesting world and it's got me asking questions like "Do these books curate themselves despite the bookkeeper's chagrin? (why are they always being misplaced??" "Does the bookkeeper know?" and lastly, "Are these books the author personified?" Allison mentioned the lack of a protagonist. And I think this can be fixed by creating that said protagonist. What if it's a new book? A book made by a child maybe? By an aspiring author? A lot to think about here! We're starting with really basic concepts so the fun comes from letting it snowball.

Concepts 1 & 3 are also great, but they felt vague. For 1, what is "everything?" And how will this frog sacrifice it/them? For 3, what is the goal here?

Concept 2 stuck out to me because 1) there's a clear goal (to get checked out) and 2) there's a clear idea of who the characters are (books that are alive). It reminds me of Toy Story and books are universally loved. Look forward to what you'll bring next :)

What If...

I love the first idea! It really has room for exploration—What do adults do with this information? Will we see different imaginations from different children? What if a kid is scared? Do their parents use their imagination to help them overcome this? The storyboards really helped visualize this. My only note is that the sound level jumps from the VO to the SFX so make sure to level those out so everything is clear with one setting! Great job, y'all!

I think "what if we were our biggest fears?" has great potential. Do people have to overcome their fears? Is it a rite of passage in this world to overcome your fear?
And what does that look like? I.e. I'm afraid of spiders, so then am I a spider myself? Great stuff! And I agree with Brit regarding the sound level. I couldn't hear the first idea well and missed the second-half of the concept.
