Act 1, 2, 3 Storyreel

Very good job! I especially love the part where Toro sacrifices his current appearence to save Hermit. It's metaphorical of is character arc, especially with the shining of the geode. I also like the illustrations. A bit personal, but, even though not much colors are not added because they're rough drawings of the story, the monochrome black/white colors really add to the tone of the story.I wonder how the rocks above will think of him after the journey below? Will they ridicule him or commend him for humbling himself? Overall, gr8

Orion the Brave - Act 1&2

I absolutely LOVE the illustrations with the choice of colors in front of the black background. Really sets the tone for a story of constellations.

Wolf and Dragon- Act 1- Kayla Stith

I absolutely love the style of the character designs. Looks like if Don Bluth were to work at Blue Sky. It brings a very warm, naturalistic yet stylistic feeling. A tight knit story too. I wonder, though, why didn't Pitaya's mother at least swoop back down to Pitaya's egg? Even if she thinks he died, I think she would've at least checked on one of her babies on in the jungle. Since it looks like the Smilodon inching at Pitaya at the end is the same one that made his mother's egg fall, i wonder if he wants to eat him to make up for a missed oppportunity. is it a coincidence that he stumbles upon Pitaya? Did the Smilodon notice the egg fall from the mother? If so, why didn't he go track it down? He fell in the forest he fell in. He has plenty of time to do so before it's infancy. Overall, great job!

Two Witches and a Star

I love the character designs. Reminds me of Little Witch Academia. I love even more the backgrounds/colors. The idea of some witches brewing up a homemade star is a great idea. What I find unclear is what lead the 2 witches to argue when their star fails to glow. What conflict is caused by the lack of star-glow? Also, ever since they found the star in the strain, the star appears to have glowed. What caused it to glow when they failed to make it glow in the first act. The story seems to imply that the level of cooperation/love between the witches glows the star. Is that so, and if so, could you make that a bit cohesive to the audience?

Jett in his World

Very good. The design of the humans look very indian influenced. I love the animistic concept. I wonder what character the anthropomorphic mountains will have

"I'll see you guys in Spring..."

This is the most emotionally gutting drawing this week. You can really feel that the deer and fox will be missing him during his hibernation. That's in the very well done facial expressions (especially on the deer). The lighting, with the dark cave, really adds to the effect. One of the best submissions this week. I love it

Leo finds a Heart

I love the concept and I love colors you added to the sketches even more. But especially on the heart. The red with the orange lights and the white reflections it really makes it look more tangible. It's like it's made of porcelain, but at the same time, it's a natural looking heart. Also, I love that the heart is glowing
I wonder if the mountain is anthropomorphic and the heart keeps it living. If not, is the heart itself anthropomorphic? Or is it one of a monster living in a mountain, and Leo here is inside it's ribcage? Whose ribs are those around the heart?

Kirk - Character Profile

Thank you so much. I wasn't necessarily inspired by the Turtle myth, but now that you mention it, It reminds me a lot of it. Especially this fantasy book series called Discworld whose canonical universe operates on the same concept. I'm a huge fan of it. RIP Terry Pratchett. Kirk is REALLY a god protecting a universe. The Oval naturally went through it's creation during Kirk's birth.

Kim's Week 2 Character Thingie

The designs are great and the story behind her is even better The aspect of her life with her ufo loving Dad leaving the family not only brings up a very serious topic, but makes us wonder if how she confronts her trauma when her empirical scientific skepticism is challenged. I also wonder how exactly is it challenged. The last drawing suggests that she will se a ufo with a dog. Her Dad believes in ufos. So its likely she will confront her Dad's past disagreements with her skepticism. Or maybe her Dad disappeared by abduction by Ufos and she will have a hint on why he left? She may even find him, perhaps?

Zala

I Love the designs, especially Zala. The way you geometrically stylized the parts of her body, especially the hips and legs, are great. I wonder there are other types of shadows, some ultra rare, and if she sells them. I also wonder where she gets her shadows from. What was a unclear was what exactly the "darkness" inside her was. (Besides the fact that she's a shadow merchant) Is it her own flaws? Does she have malicious ethics in being a merchant? Is she doing the same thing the "mysterious figures" are doing and upon confronting them questions her own morality? I would love to know, very compelling so far.

Meet Aspen

They are the best designed character in the gallery so far. I wonder how Aspen will deal with the absence of their best friend. If anything is unclear, I would like to see if why their best friend is not "putting in the same effort". Is it on purpose? Is he too busy with life to do it? Does he have his phone number? If so, why can't he call him to tell Aspen he cannot make it that year?

What If?

Ooh. Love the drawings for all of them. I especially love the last idea. It would make for a good thriller/horror movie, especially with all the deep sea creatures that are in the trench. I wonder if there will be any deep sea creatures that will be of high danger to the people in the train. Do they have any underwater swimming gear to swim out of the train? Would there be any conflicts between anyone that would hold them back from being safe? How was a train spanning from the surface of the earth to all the way down there in the trench able to be built by humans? How and why did the people in the train get here?

What If scenarios

The last 2 ideas are my favorites, especially the human/animal role reversal idea. What the time of the year is this event confined to? A day, a week, or even a month? What reason is there to why this occurs? Can the animals even TALK, or understand the humans? If so, os there some sort of agreement with the animals and the governments of human countries that make this happen? What was a bit unclear was where would the animals get their weapons from. Would they keep them in their habitats daily? If they already have guns, why wouldn't they hunt humans anyday, not just on that event? Would guns be the only weapon of the animals?

I meant that the rainbow was tangible, as in it's touchable. You can put your hand on it but not THROUGH it, unlike a normal rainbow. That's how the city rests on the rainbow.

Chuck's What If

I love the second idea. It sounds like an idea that would be fleshed out in some 2000s kids movie. I wonder whether or not the Cat would find out he's not a Dog. If still think it's a Dog,, will it's good ability as a police animal make him think so? I think that How good is it as a police "Dog"? What would want him to serve in the police? What unit does he serve under? The Feline unit?

Madrid Team whatif

I LOVE the first idea. I wonder if the personalities of the constellations would effect how they look. Would they have no houses and just sleep in the bare sky? Do they ever visit earth? If so, would they be too dangerously hot/bright for earth? Are they're any constellations that act as buildings such as restaurants, stores and stadiums? Do they have different colors? How do the constellations have any ground to walk on? If not, do they just float from one place to another? Their nights shouldn't end when a part of earth turns into day?

Week

What IF

The third idea is my favorite. I wonder if the main character will be happier or not with her new life. Will she ever go back to her old life? Does she disappear from her first life when she wakes up in the next one? Are the two lives she lived in different time periods, or does she wake up in the next life the day after the first life? Also, I love the pink/blue hair style of the main character

What if you could only see your best friend once a year...

I love how these stories are drawn, especially the first one. My favorite idea is definitely the last one with the traps. Love how it's a metaphor for the negative aspects in life and humans responding and/or avoiding these aspects. I would like to know who sets up these traps? How do the characters to the story avoid them? Do any of them succumb to the traps?

Thank you. The planets in the universe is inhabited. I haven't fully decided what inhabits them, but i'm leaning towards humans or anthropomorphic mouses.

I love all the ideas, especially the way you drew them. The first one is my favorite. We usually expect viruses to completely destroy the computers software. Some questions i have question, how does the virus "Fix" the computer?
