Lottie is an 8 years old baby girl, with big brown eyes and long straight brown hair with a white strip that runs along her entire hair’s length and recalls the fur of an otter. She is curious and has a vibrant soul. Despite her young age, she is determined and doesn’t hesitate to commit when she wants to obtain something. She can be also very sensitive and stubborn. The thing she desires the most is to find her true love. But she lives in a world where people don’t seem to be able to find it. Around her couples break up. Even her parents suddenly decide to divorce. So, after reading in one of her favourite illustrated books that otters are the only animals who succeed in finding the perfect soulmate, she decides to start a journey to find otters and learn their secret. The encounter with a playful, sweet otter that has problems finding its perfect match will put a strain on Lottie’ s mission. But she will soon understand that true love can also come in the form of a deep and indissoluble friendship.
